RECENT NEWS

The CCS students in the one act play, "Ghetto" won the TAPPS state championship! Congratulations to the cast and crew for this amazing accomplishment!

Many members of our HS theatre department competed at the Texas Thespian Festival and made it to nationals! Congratulations to the following national qualifiers:

  • Gabbie Perez – Costume Construction

  • Hannah Rodriguez – Costume Design (received perfect score)

  • Trinity Rios – Set Design

  • Reese Twilla & Brandon Jackson – Duet Acting

  • Josh Anderson – Contrasting Monologues

  • Dalton Sanford – Contrasting Monologues

The CCS Thespian society recently sang over 60 Valentines singing grams to raise money to Mr. Reichle's family as well as Coach D'Marcus.

In October the Thespian Society collected over 800 pounds of canned food for the San Antonio Food Bank as part of "Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat". A big thanks to everyone who donated cans of food!

Some of our Thespians participated in the band's Sci-Fi and Swing Concert on April 3rd. They performed a scene during the band's song from Doctor Who. Great job Thespians and amazing job band!
